Our “SEEDS” Philosophy- (Supporting Early Emerging Developmental Skills) offers children an ability to learn in a way that is unique to THEM!

The curriculum implemented at Little Rascals Childcare Learning Center consists of developmentally appropriate activities designed to help your child reach their key milestones.  The teachers create activities to provide environments that meet the needs of young children according to their individual strengths, weaknesses and interests, enabling the children to develop the highest degree of learning and growth.

The curriculum revolves around the classroom environment.  It is divided into Interest Areas, which are suitable for the development of a child’s natural desire to creatively express themselves. With teacher guidance, social interaction and play, the children develop a sense of self and their place in the world.

We provide classrooms set up with the following interest areas for your child to explore.

While the children are interacting in the interest areas teachers will observe them closely.  By doing this, teachers come to understand a child and can therefore know how and when or when not to intervene.  Through observation, teachers generate ideas and gather materials which might expand the children’s play.

The Center will be closed on the following days…

September 6th – Labor Day

November 24th –  Thanksgiving

November 25th –  Thanksgiving

December 24th –  Christmas Eve

December 31st –  New Years Eve
